The West Hills Leadership Team, or “Green Shirts” are some of the most caring, outgoing and professional leaders in the industry.

Susan Diamond

Susan Diamond started at West Hills as a nine year old girl in the Arrow Senecas and continued on through the travel program. She was a CIT, junior counselor, counselor, group leader and Pre-school division leader for many years. Susan is amazed each summer as she watches our little ones grow, develop independence, and learn how to make friends with their peers. She has two sons of her own who are headed to college.

Susan has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from UMass. She is extremely thankful for the opportunity to lead our staff and teach them how to care for your children. You can often find her out and about and participating in activities with the campers throughout the summer!

Kimberly Doxey, M.A., CCC-SLP

Kimberly received her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University. She also holds a New York State Teaching Certification for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities. Prior to joining the Gersh Organization, Mrs. Doxey-Davila worked in the special education field for the past 12 years in a variety of capacities. Her most recent role included a directorship of a special education department in a community center, where she designed and implemented social and recreational programs for children with special needs.

Kim has been in the camping industry since she was a child and is grateful to West Hills for allowing her to blend her passion for the special education population with her love for summer day camp. She feels she found her true calling when she joined WHDC in 2017, which has allowed her to create novel programs that help every child of every ability grow to their fullest potential.
