18 acres of natural beauty provide the perfect setting for “sleep-away” style adventure activities at West Hills. Our Pre-school children and lower boys and girls divisions begin their adventure on the low ropes course. Climbing the cargo net, crossing the rope bridge and other challenging tasks brings the best out of our youngest campers as they achieve goals and complete challenges both individually and as a group.
Our junior and senior zip lines help campers take risks and overcome their fears as they climb to the top and slide down the line at amazing speeds. Older campers have the opportunity to conquer “Everest,” our high ropes course for advanced climbing. Our unique climbing trees are an excellent addition to the adventure program affording children multiple opportunities to enjoy the view from above.
Campers entering 2nd grade and older are trained in safety and taught how to drive ATVs through our very own course at the top of West Hills. Team building activities in areas specifically designed to foster communication and socialization skills are the final piece of this unique program which helps separate West Hills Day Camp from the rest.
